At The Optometric Café, we take pride in offering all sorts of eyewear and related services from our shop in Beverly Hills. We love what we do, and it shows, with our regulars milling around on a sunny morning, and new visitors exploring our welcoming world.
One of the things that we put time and effort into is making our store unique in the era of chain franchises and big-box retailers.
Think about what you see when you go into some eyeglass store in a mall in middle America or elsewhere. You’re likely to see the cookie-cutter decor and bland institutional-looking interiors under the harsh glare of fluorescent lights.
Glasses are stacked on cheap plastic frames, and maybe there’s some tinny Muzak in the background.
All of it sets the stage for a really uncomfortable buying experience. People don’t even like to walk into some of these stores, because of how they look and feel. There’s a cattle-chute quality to these stores that’s really off-putting, and that doesn’t just apply to optometry shops, either. So many stores are not nice places to be, even where a minor investment in “dressing up” would make a major difference. It’s sad.
Take a look at our interior. Walk-in from the street and see how we accentuate our branding with high-quality furnishings that make you feel more like you’re in a cigar store than a place to buy sunglasses. Without the smoke, of course. But you’ve probably seen a cigar store interior. They’re classy places, where you feel like you’re a VIP the whole time you are shopping. That’s our vibe.
Listen, your experience as a customer makes a difference. We want a premium environment in which to offer our eye exams and prescription glasses, as well as sunglasses for exploring Los Angeles and sunny Southern California.
We also offer children’s designs for your little ones, and great-looking eyewear for the whole family, in a warm and relaxing environment, so that you don’t want that half-hour that you spent inside the store to be permanently erased from your memory when you leave! Lol.
Come see us at The Optometric Café, and get some neat glasses as you stroll around admiring Sachs Fifth Avenue, Tiffany’s, the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style, and other local attractions, taking in the sights and sounds of this classy neighborhood. It’s a real treat to take time to explore this neighborhood, and we are immensely happy to be a part of it.
